This whole house remodel and second story addition converted an existing garage into a family room, reconfigured the existing spaces, and added bedrooms, a bath, and a kids’ room upstairs. The project goal was to add the space while making the home feel like it was always there. The Craftsman aesthetic was based on the existing home but added many details to give the home architectural interest. The second floor dormers were designed to bring the scale of the addition down to human scale.
